There's a few different names for this particular pattern...Old Colony, Open Lace Edge & Open Edge. Made between 1935 - 1938 by Anchor Hocking Glass Co. in the USA. I purchased them along with several other pieces from an estate sale that I will also be listing. I'm listing these two pieces together as the lid from the compote also fits the ribbed flower bowl as I've shown in the last picture. They both show wear but, considering their age, are in very good to excellent, usable condition. The compote (RARE), pedestal bowl with lid is in excellent condition with a small scratch on the lid that you can feel when you run your finger over it and, there's a line on both sides of the bowl that runs across the pedestal base...this is a seam, not a crack, I think it was probably made in two-pieces as you can feel a bit of a ridge & its even on both sides. With the lid, to the top of the handle is 5.75", not including the lid is 3.5"...bowl is 4.75" diameter inside, 6.75" diameter to outer edge and is 2" deep, pedestal stand is 3.5" diameter. Footed flower bowl has a chip in the rim, its smooth to touch when you run your finger over the top but you can feel it when you run your finger along the inside rim, the lid for flower stems is in excellent condition with no issues to note. Its 4.5" tall including the lid & 3.5" without, the bowl is 4.75" diameter inside, 6.75" diameter to edge of lace pattern and is 3" deep, footed bottom is 3.75" diameter. ***NOTE*** Price is Firm for the lot (will not separate)...pick up only, NO delivery, will ship (YOUR COST)! be sure to check my other ads for more pieces in this pattern from the same estate
